About Us

KALDA 

Is an Icelandic accessories brand founded in 2016 by designer Kata Alda. Our shoes are designed in our head quarters in Reykjavik and hand made in Portugal. 

We are very proud of the partnership we have with our factory. It is an all female led operation plus the business has a majority female workforce, which includes 30 shoemakers who work by hand, all with full-time contracts, many of whom have been there for over 20 years.
